I got a home for my birthday.

So I guess it's time for an update. Thanks to covid I was homeless for most of July. My job kindly took me and until i found a place on Aug 1st. My stuff is with me now and I am settled. This move should only last until covid calms down or vaccine pops up.
For people who know me, there is no bad blood between me and my former roomates, since one of them is high risk and I didn't want to lose my job of 23 years, I made the choice to move out to protect them and to continue working. I hope to see them after all this.
Also apologies to everyone waiting on me, i am finally comfortable enough to get back into art and have been catching up recently. I have no plans to open for commissions currently but i will announce when. All my thanks for the ko-fi support and words of encouragement. Stay safe out there.
Feels odd to "celebrate" my birthday (aug12th) alone for the first time in 20+ years, oh well. 2020 is just wacky.

Like your former roommate, I'm in the high-risk group -- over 60, diabetic and a long history (almost 60 years) of respiratory issues. Thank you for your sacrifice.
but otherwise, I'm glad to hear you're doing better in terms of living arrangement and being away from a Covid carrier. Hopefully you didn't catch it before you left.

I know the feeling, I normally see family on my birthday but not this time, luckly I was able to spend time with my partner and I had the best gift (being able to keel my toe)
but yeah 2020 can suck it
Secondly, that is wild. I'm so sorry you lost your home, bun. You made a really tough choice and you're sticking with it. I hope everything works out for you. Were I closer I'd give you cake and cuddles. I'm really happy you have a roof over your head again and I look forward to seeing more works. Maybe you should do a few pieces based on your experiences that took place.

Glad you're doing alright and thanks for keeping in touch <3. I'm just glad you're alright man. Don't stress or rush yourself with any commissions you owe me. Take your time and do what you gotta do, these are hard times for all of us.

Glad you've found a new place. It sounds like you made a tough, but necessary decision, and I'm glad you took steps to protect your high-risk room-mate. Sorry I haven't been in touch, and I wish I could have helped, or known, but I'm a bit distant. Be strong, you're an inspiration and I'm glad you're pulling through.
