moms abusive ex roommate/boyfriend has been harrasing us

so on august 11th my mom's ex got kicked out due to threatening us, since then he has tried to get us to:
-Drop our insistence to get a restraining order by further threatening me with jail after he broke through the back door and i told him twice to get out and hit him with a pipe to protect my mom who was telling him to get out of her house fearfully might i add, which the police told us that while he did have a legal right to be there due to squatters rights and that he has to be evicted as him not receiving mail there is not grounds to kick him out, but they declined to press charges against me as i was just protecting my mom, yet the police have seen the video and said they can't do anything.
he's been:
-arrested 3 times for domestic violence
he's also affiliated with the outlaws and has threatened to make us disappear with a phone call to them
