Hi, friends. I hope you all are well in ridiculously uncertain times as of lately.

Two weeks ago, I lost my job.
I'm not upset. Matter of fact, it's probably for the best it happened when it did.
I feel like I settled for mediocrity.
I tucked away energy and time for passions I'd otherwise jump to without question.

I think like many others having to adjust to a new reality this year,
This "loss" has me looking forward to where I would more ideally see myself.
That said, I won't let my fur be ruffled up too much.
I'm setting my sights differently now.

Lately I hadn't focused on creating art. Or music, which is what I went to college for, by the way.
Now all the sudden, I have this time to reflect and soul search.

As I foresee, it may be a while before I pursue art again.
For now, I'm going to focus on writing music, alongside finding new career opportunities.

In the meantime, I'm eager to get out of a decline in my social life, too.
