But the problem is I'm scared the artists might take my money and run. I've had this happen to me multiple times, even with artists I've commissioned and trusted before. I guess the warning signs are when they take a lot of commissions at a time? I dunno, let me see your commission prices and we'll see if I can save up for a commission. I'm super hesitant though...
But yeah I defiantly understand that problem, I ordered a commission for about 20 or 30 dollars in February and the artist said it's be done by June, in hindsight I probabaly should have considered that a red flag but ye it's still not done and I'm not sure if it will ever be
What I do now is look and see if the artist has posted any commissions lately instead of personal art. But even then there's still a risk of them suddenly leaving...like that's what happened to someone I commissioned a year ago. They were pumping out commissions after commissions then one day POOF
