So, as it turns out, I won't be closing down my commissions for the month of September.
Just as a TL;DR and some transparency but also to formally let you know that as of right now everything is okay;
We were in a car accident today (we being me and my mSO). We're both fine, physically, as of right now though I am experiencing some very mild soreness in my neck and shoulder most likely because I tensed up very hard when I realized we were going to impact the car in front of us. The front of our car is pretty busted. Possibly also the front part of the driver's side door. We're not sure yet as we can't take the car into the shop until Monday. It's still driveable, so that's wonderful news, and we do still have my car so even when we get their car taken in we won't be without a vehicle.
But, the mSO says we're probably looking at somewhere around having to pay 500$ to get the car fixed. And with already having to get ready to pay for a surgery (theirs, it's a "routine" thing and nothing to worried about but they still insist on surgery to correct it) I have decided that I will be leaving my commissions open. I will simply try to write as much as I am able to be able to still participate in SpooKinktober and I will now most definitely be working on adopts to sell. I'll be selling adopts throughout September (or trying to) at fixed prices and then I will sell full characters during the month of October. What this means is that it will not only be a custom made adoptable but it will also have a fleshed out backstory that you can purchase for a small bit extra if you're interested.

The funny part is, I was commenting on bad drivers right before it happened. The vehicle in front of us (an ambulance) had just been cut off by an orange truck, and I was commenting that now if the ambulance needed to do anything in an emergancy it wouldn't be able to. Turns out, I was immediately proven correct.

Nah, I'm okay. Like I was super mad about it yesterday but I'm fine. Definitely still sore, but I can still move and walk around and shit so I'm definitely fine. Just gotta do as much as I can
Yes, we're both safe. Car is definitely still driveable but we're still taking it in in a few days to get all fixed up. Being in the car makes me a little nervous but being in cars usually makes me nervous anyway so there's nothing new there. They're perfectly fine and I'm just incredibly sore.
