Good for you. Twitter is an absolutely a terrible site full of terrible people with terrible opinions.

nothing says enjoyable like a side-bar full of news i don't get to turn off so long as i'm logged in

This was a problem for me too, but I changed my trends into to show me trends in Slovenia, and now there's pretty much nothing there, and no news. :)
(I also pretty much only look at notifications lately)

i did that once and i got some kind of natural disaster on the sidebar and went "welp"

i also don't remember turning it back to the us but it was on it again??

i don't know why every furry decided the website where world leaders insult one another was the place furry porn should go tbh

Yeah...I resisted using Twitter for years....

I've been gradually drifting away from Twitter, skimming through hundreds of messages once per week or so. The constant feed always drove me nuts. Aside from a few friends that I keep tabs on, I've cut things back.

Nobody really needs Twitter, though. Always good to see you posting here.

Twitter is an emotional black hole of which there is no escape from a ruined day. Fa mostly just lacks a good way to "be seen" if you're trying to get you work out there, otherwise I'm not sure if Twitter is even worth the cluster fucks it usually brings.

On the one hand, sucks that there's essentially no sites left where people can just hang out and connect on without being mind-raped by actively hostile design. On the other hand, your life will probably improve noticeably now that you no longer have to deal with Twitter.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having issues with Twitter...I started an account there just as an additional way to share my art, especially for people who aren't on FA, and every time I log on my anxiety spirals out of control and I get depressed :(

yeah a ton of people went twitter exclusive and i was like "well i mostly just use twitter for nightblogging, but i might as well follow them on it"

then 2020 hit and now i couldn't look at my twitter feed without seeing someone being literally murdered once a day, regardless of who i was following it'd put it in the sidebar if nowhere else

i don't need that, i know the world's a mess, staring at it all day doesn't help
