I love you Dad!

I have been on an emergency trip to Arizona to see my dad. He was diagnosed last year with Stage IV Appendix Cancer. He did chemo and had big surgeries but unfortunately it came back. My dad passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday. He was a great man, father, brother, son, and friend. Seriously the best dad I could have had. Even though he wasn’t approving of me being gay, he later accepted me for who I am. The last 7 years with him were wonderful. Thank you to my boyfriend

We are a strong bunch. He was the best dad despite his hate of me being a furry 😅 but he was happy for me being gay. Mostly 😂
Even so, you connected with him, and were open with him. You guys were happy with each other. If that’s not the best kind of dad possible, then I don’t know what is. 😊

I regret that I never met him, but I'm glad you got to see him and speak with him to get some closure. I don't think my feeble attempts to make you feel better would've worked if you weren't already such a resilient person. Your dad helped raise a good person. Two, if you count your sister! :)
