The 100 on netflix is actuslly pretty good its on season 7 but it stays fresh and is worth the watch and sticking with it.

I-Robot was one of the first sci-fi films I remember watching when I was young as well as the stargate TV show. That one has some fun memories tied behind it.

Given that today is the 54th anniversary of Star Trek: The Original Series first airing I’ve been watching a smattering of Deep Space 9, Enterprise and the original Star Trek.

As for anime, Revisions is one I’ve enjoyed, same as BNA and Dorohedoro

The Altered Carbon series on Netflix is good. Very different from the original books, but very cyberpunk-noir/bladerunner-ish.

I enjoyed BNA and Dorohedoro as well.

i read cyberpunk....im instantly intrigued

I heard Love Death and Robots is pretty good on Netfix, along with BNA, Beastars, Aggretsuko and Big Mouth.

Anime wise...Now some of these are lewd to be honest, but its interesting to watch if you can find them uncensored :P. Other than that, most are tame:

Enjoyed Altered Carbon quite a bit, but that got cancelled. Also DARK (the German Netflix show) is damn fine

Altered Carbon first season was wonderful. Season 2 wasn't as good, but unfortunately, Netflix decided to cancel it.

A really good dystopian crime sci-fi anime is Psycho-Pass. It's quite long with 3 seasons and 2 movies. Really makes you think~ You can find it on Hulu.

If you can find it. Planetes is a realy good scifi anime.

The Expanse is my favorite current sci-fi. All 4 seasons are on amazon, and season 5 is in production.

Part space opera, political thriller, and detective story all rolled into one, with interesting, engaging characters. Season 1 is somewhat slow while they set everything up, but it picks up the pace from season 2 onward. Seriously the best story, characters, and as close to hard sci-fi as possible.
