The plot is pretty dark and deceptive, you see cheery kids but their situation is extremely dire once the truth is learned. :O

Oddly enough, I don't have netflix. I watched the Promised Neverland when it was on kissanime

But if you haven't watched it yet Food Wars, Seven Deadly Sins and Kakegurui is good :D for anime

You ma'am have impeccable taste~ I was watching Food Wars 3rd Plate but Kissanime doesn't work anymore and Netflix only has up to the 2nd Plate. I am on season 2 of Seven Deadly Sins and I watched all of Kakegurui!

I watched the first two episodes, I could not get into it.

It's pretty grim and has an odd story so it's understandable. I just love how unpredictable the show is and seeing how the kids have the odds stacked against them and how they go about solving their problems. Morality comes to play as people are forced to make some messed up decisions just to survive in the world.

I might give it another try, I just was not impressed with the first few episodes. I could tell it was dark from the moment I saw the numbered tattoos on their necks. I am not squeamish and I have watched a-lot of violent gory bloody anime.

A few more and you start seeing how crazy their situation is and just thinking, what would you do in if you was there. It almost becomes a game of chess as one group tries to outwit the other and control the situation. To be honest it isn't gorey at all, just a very grim and nearly hopeless situation that children find themselves in and if they fuck up, they are dead.

I loved watching this when if came out! It's such a dark story, but so good~!
