But a lot of mental health experts are saying that this forced stay-home seclusion is making it so that a lot of abuse-at-home situations is not being reported. ESPECIALLY among kids.
Kids are far less likely to speak out on their own, and a lot of these incidents are found out by adults outside the home noticing something's wrong (i.e. the adults who are actually trained to look for these issues). ... and when kids aren't going to school ... well ...
So yeah, next time you see a celebrity or news anchor tell you that kids aren't safe venturing out away from home ... let this little bit of knowledge black-pill you and make you question whether or not that person is being sincere ...

Hell even ignoring the possibility of at-home abuse, it's been shown time and again that children need socialization with other children to grow up mentally healthy. Secluding them at home and not allowing them to physically be around other children, even if it's just for a year, is going to do a LOT of damage to an entire generation that we're gonna end up finding out about somewhere around 10 or 20 years later.
