So, I didn't think I would need to say this, but saw someone who was on my facebook friends list "heart" some stupid-ass anti-masker image.
Wear a fucking mask when you're in a public areas with other people. Stop being being an asshole. Stop being a child. Stop lionizing stupidity and selfishness. If you want to die a painful death due to intentional lack of medical self-care that's your choice, but you don't get to go around endangering OTHER people's health and not get called out on it.

I have a co-worker who is a racist Trump supporter and even HE understands the necessity of wearing a mask and calls out the idiots protesting this. It's not like this will be forever, the pandemic will end and at that point we can go back to not needing to wear masks. It's the spanish flu all over again.

ooh! I've always liked plague doctor masks and find the uniforms incredibly charming in appearance, but they've never been really something I'd been interesting in wearing myself. More of a gasmask kinda gal. :)

Gotcha! Gas masks can be handy. I recall one time in my old apartment when I burned some hard salami slices I was frying, and a gas mask filtered out the acrid smoke... :)

I hate where I live right now. We have an actual anti-mask militia. Of course, they're too cowardly to actually attack anyone, but they march around with their guns all the time.

I hear ya. One of of my closest friends is one of those people that won’t shut up about how masks shouldn’t be mandatory. As a friend, I love her to bits, but it drives me insane whenever she posts complaining about masks. She does wear one, but she says it’s only so people don’t get mad. So on the bright side, at least she is wearing a mask. It still doesn’t make the paranoid stuff she writes about how the government is out to get us with the mask mandate any less annoying. You have no idea how many times I’ve wanted to tell her to shut up already. It’s just maddening.
