TL;DR: The stars aligned, and I've been contracted to work on a really cool cartoon for the next 4 months.
Big honkin hiatus incoming. Not a complete stop in art, but a significant slowdown.

So, yes! Hello! I won't be around a whole lot for the next 4 months.
An old friend of mine who works in the animation industry contacted me for sudden help.
Long story short, his offer was SUPER COOL and I seriously could not pass it up, so now I'm working on season 2 for a show. ;v;
Show name not to be told for privacy reasons, "Sylvia" isn't a terribly popular name hehehe.

So what next? Because, holy moly, back in June I opened unlimited slots for comms, expecting to only get 15ish AT MOST.
So, it's been quite a daunting task, slowly working through the waitlist. xD
And, because this job is 40hrs/week, I will only be able to work on comms and other art during the evenings and on weekends, when I can.

Here's the plan:

UNAFFECTED: (Will be working on these in the evenings/weekends, no matter what.)
- The current Make-A-Chimera event.
- Any commissions that are already paid for, or partially paid for.
- Any Patreon things that are set in September (the request stream, and end-of-month files/sketches.)

SLIGHTLY AFFECTED:
- Upcoming Halloween event, as this has already been drawn and fully planned out with a friend. However, the initial 6 slots will be reduced to 3. More info coming early Oct.
- The next Make-A-Chimera event, which was scheduled for January, will be pushed back. Not sure when exactly, but when I return I want my comm waitlist to be my top priority.

REGARDING THE WAITLIST... I know it's been a lot longer of a list than anyone expected, and this suddenly adds a lot longer wait on top. About +4 months.
I absolutely want to honor every person in the waitlist, and although it may take some time, I promise I will get to each and every one of you. <3
However, if this wait is too long and you no longer want to be in line for a comm, please note me and I will remove you from the list. No hard feelings! I'd completely understand. ^^

I have learned my lesson with 'unlimited slots' and trying to guess the potential level of interest (tip: you guys are amazing, I still can't believe the levels of love xD ), so in the future I will always make sure to limit my slots so no one has to be in a waitlist super long again.
