As already there is social clashing and discourse, I see. Specially after that nazi-fur discourse.

What was the nazi-fur discourse? All I'm aware of with regards to that is that content promoting hate groups and ideologies was banned. :o

As far as I know, they did ban it. But there is still discourse among them about it internally.

There was also drama about when a staff member said they didnt want to get involved, named Mementos.

So if there is not only still discourse going on socially standards, and staff members not wanting to be directly involved with such topics, makes me wonder if the staff isnt really ready to handle a site.
But yeah, I'm gonna wait a bit and see what happens for a year.

It's a lot to read through in a single sitting but from what I gather, there hadn't been a rule laid out at the time regarding ideological content and the moderator may have just been trying to avoid making a ruling on their own about the issue. This is also when the mod staff was 4-5 members so they likely had a lot on their plates.

Since then the mod team has gotten much larger and there has been a very explicit, no-nonsense rule set out banning that sort of content so I think they're showing good faith at the very least. :>

But I totally understand wanting to hold off, especially since the audience on the site is small now and there's no telling where it'll be in a year. Maybe it'll be gone by Christmas, or maybe there'll be a huge exodus over there.
