Inspiration from unlikely places - thank you, Witch Bunny...
The other night I posted my third PPG X reboot, and today I've been looking for ideas for new characters since I want to introduce some original heroes. For anyone whose read the original, that involved the Arches Triad. For the reboot, so far that's only Blazing Amber... but she's not really a hero. She's pretty much just been told what a superhero is and been left to it, not to mention that she doesn't really save... well, anyone.
So, to counter this I wanted to come up with a two man fledgling hero team... I've had a few idea in the past for that, but nothing really worked for me... and then, this came up on my Youtube recommendations.
The minute I saw these two characters, I had my inspiration for my new heroes Simone Labelle/Usagi and Tobias Neri/Nabi. I'm going to make them very grassroots style heroes too; no experience, homemade - or generated through his powers in Nabi's case - costumes, and no idea what they're doing but at their hearts just wanting to do the right thing without wanting accolades.
So, thank you Youtube, and more importantly thank you Fernanda Dias for the sheer beauty that is Witch Bunny.
