Dont feed or respond to the troll, thats what they want, just say "sure" and "i guess" to whatever comment they make and they quickly lose the reaction energy from you that they seek. Even if you want to respond, you dont have to call the fire brigade or internet police, its just a bit of text on your screen, you can even hide it from your post. :)

I dunno. Acting civil would do better than "Cool story, bro." That just ticks me off even more, even as someone who tries to act civil to trolls. Politely and clearly saying "this conversation is over" will go a longer way in terms of finalizing arguments and ending the convo, IMO.
