An open letter to interested parties.

Not doing commissions. Might be a while. I'm flattered that there's still interest (I presume - well, those couple of you who are in that queue that doesn't officially exist know who you are), but I'm a bit burnt out from them at the moment.

See, I'm going to be working primarily on my doctoral thesis in the coming months. It's not that I won't have time to draw (Nuts to that idea!) but I'm going to need a way to unwind from the mental hard work of each day in the coming months, and for me artistic hard work isn't a great unwinder. Commissions tend to bring out the worst perfectionism in me, and to be honest, by the time I call "done" on a commission, I've grown so weary of the image... So I've decided I'm going to take it easy, and do some things just for myself (and stuff I owe friends) for a while.

Don't know when commissions will open again. Not sure if I'll reopen them once I've finished my thesis. I guess we'll see.

All that said, thanks guys! I never in my wildest dreams thought someone would pay me to draw, of all things. And gripe as I may... it's been a fun challenge.
