A friend of mine once told me that all politicians (Left, Right, Center, Whatever) are ALL liars. I'm not convinced that he does have the virus. I'm thinking that this is some part of a grand scheme of his.

And even IF he truly has the virus, he's probably going to recover and use his recovery to his advantage.

Look, I respect your views, but my thing is I've dealt with so many lies I don't know who to believe in anymore, and therefore I had quit listening to both sides. All I can do, is that hope for the best for the people. He did get blocked from performing any federal level response early on (and most likely prevented from stopping the virus from entering the US in the first place). Everything that's happened about the virus due to those early blocks and currently in place ones that prevent a federal level response (thus leaving it up to each state governor to decide virus policy whilst his hands were tied) isn't on his hands and i wish him the best and hope he makes a speedy recovery

No he didn’t Trump literally has stated he always wanted the states to be in charge (which is why so many states did nothing and now are the biggest hotspots)

His so called travel bans to china were not full bans...they only kept chinese people from coming over, Americans, especially American businessmen were allowed to go back and forth.

And we also know that he was briefed about the virus in his national security briefings on the issue in wuhan as far back as October and did nothing, he even praised Xi for his actions and response at first...

Not too mention he cut the pandemic response team/fired them, shut down the Prevention program, a scientific program that had been in place for ten years and whose sole purpose was to research and monitor animal to human disease like covid-19...they even had a base in wuhan because of the wet markets there

trump cut their funding and shut them down two months before the viral outbreak.

He also dismantled and or ignored the obama era pandemic infrastructure, including the detailed 60 page playbook the Obama admin literally left them for handling and dealing with a viral pandemic...then claimed Obama left them nothing...

And we also now know that the antibodies for the virus only last a few months in the body, they can be used for treatment but there is no herd immunity becasue they cannot last permanently in the body...

So every time Trump or his riots say herd immunity, that’s doesn’t work with this virus, no more than it does with other covid strains like aids or the flu...

He also pushed for reopening, pushed for opening schools and supported right wing militia’s threateningly demonstrating with guns to “reopen” cause they couldn’t handle not having hair cuts...

Despite knowing how dangerous it was and how easily it was catchable he literally attacked and downplayed wearing masks, held massive open rallies with his supporters where he either didn’t enforce social distancing or even made them sign death wavers that would prevent them from suing him or the RNC if any of them caught and or died from covid...

And he also has neglected to do anything about the massive rent evictions and foreclosures, and gave corporations billions while letting his GOP cronies only give everyone else a single payment of 1600 bucks...

He also pushed for reopening before the first wave was ever done, and has basically claimed the the economy (specifically his stock market which affects his poll numbers) is more important than the lives of those at risk

and of the 200k people and counting who have died trump literally has said, covid barely effects anybody and totally ignores those deaths...

And even in his fallen hour he still managed to cause a controversy, since we now know that even after both Trump and Hope Hicks either knew they had tested positive for the virus and or were waiting for confirmation of testing positive, they both went to a public fundraiser the next day, not wearing masks and possibly infected even more people...after they knew they had it and or could be at risk of having it

and they still went to a public event with no protection and or care of giving it to others, and i can’t fathom any better sum up of the kind of people we’re dealing with then that.

-Downplayed the pandemic
-Spread blatant (and dangerous) misinformation
-Clashed with medical and scientific representatives
-Refused to do little to nothing about it
-Attempted to gut the ACA
-Dismantled the organization meant to combat this VERY kind of situation
-Barely (if at all) tried to get his followers to take proper precautions
-Visited those followers in high-risk states to do massive rallies

So... to be frank? He made this bed - he can sleep in it too.

Do I want him to die? No. Not at all. If he goes now, his followers will make a martyr of him. No... I want him to recover, but not cleanly. I want to see the disease effect his ability to continue his presidency and force him to concede the election. I want to see all his party's plans to steal the upcoming election... the USPS tampering, the voter suppression, the recent voter intimidation... all mean nothing as he has to hand the election over to his opponent.

After that, I want him to live, so the various charges from tax evasion, sexual assault/harassment, crimes against humanity are levelled against him. I want to see him behind bars for what life he has left.

See, I don't want him to die. There's no justice if he dies. Dying of COVID will be his easy way out. I want his proverbial chickens to come home to roost. I want all of the abhorrent actions he's done in the past 4 years to catch up with him. The lives he's ruined, then mocked deserve as much.

After all of that? Then he can slip this moral coil... but not before.



I get that this is pretty dark, but when someone gives no sympathy for the things they've done (quite the opposite), it's kind of hard to have sympathy back. Sorry if this rant is not the kind of thing people want to hear... but when the above-mentioned actions (and believe me, that's just the short list) have likely contributed to 1/5th of all the deaths IN THE WORLD under his watch and he continued to play it off like those lives meant nothing? It's kind of hard not to chuckle at his self-inflicted situation.

I'm not fan of the president myself. but I think its wrong to wish for his death.

1: This virus is something to not take lightly. therefore We need to make the deaths as minimal as possible.
2: I feel it isn't right to wish it on anyone. Heck! I wouldn't wish this on anyone not even my worst enemy.

Also there is one thing people always forget (and especially those who want him dead) If Trump either dies, or is somehow forced to step down, We'd have to deal with mike pence.
