Starter evolutions are considered children, so people don't want to go there.

That's also why there's a lot of Lopunny and Lucario but not a lot of Buneary or Riolu

Fennekin just looks like a smol dog, while Braixen is designed to look like a loli and Delphox is just hot witch.
Not much people are attracted to smol dog, so yeh.
