As of now Im restricted to working within the size on 1280x1280, That means that the largest side will be 1280pixels.
Most of the images I upload here are bigger then 1280 and the still remain om my hard drive.
Are you guys good with the existing dimensions or are interested in a lager format?

Well, when I draw, I usally draw my art at around 8000x8000 pixels, and then narrow down the dimensions to 5000x5000 pixel in resolution, in which the image is large, and does not say "Image to large" from what I know!

I get a restriction on upload to 1280x1280, maybe that will change with more followers?
Larger format is always better. 1280x1280 is FA's normal restriction but you can bypass it by reuploading the original submission file with the Change submission file function, it's fully allowed.
