LBGT Questions

General
My parents, me and my brother were talking news articles.
And one in particular sparked quite the talk.
So one of my questions is: can someone who claims to be Trans-Feminine, is now saying that they were Non-Binary on top of it. Can someone be both? What confuses me, how can someone call themselves Trans-Feminine, when Non-Binary means you are NEITHER Male or Female.
Plus the other one is, I always get this confused. Does Queer mean, Sexual or Gender? Or Does it mean both?

With the term transfeminine it means siding more with feminine features. So this person who's both transfeminine and nonbinary is someone who was assigned male as birth, identifies as some form of non-binary, and prefers to have feminine features.
Queer is sort of an umbrella term, usually by those who don't feel they fit into certain LGBT labels like gay, trans, bisexual, asexual, etc.
Ergo, it is possible to be two things at once, and the individual in question would probably describe themselves as "somewhere in between" T-F and N-B, or possibly "Non-binary with a feminine lean".
There is soooooo much I'm still trying to understand. I can get confused about it at times.
