It might have been an accident, on paypal you can 'resend' someone money just by clicking on their picture icon. I accidently sent the wrong Alexus money a month or two ago when i was trying to send my bf money. ^^ Or they got the email wrong which happens too!

yeah but I never had any contact to the email. I also checked every note from the eggs or so. I refunded of course, I just want to know if that is someone from here, becuase the password of that email is on the internet >.<

same, really. especially when the only thing you can find on google for it is hacking info and scam sites >-<

Having worked for Paypal, I saw this alot and it's good you refunded it since it sounds to me like it was done as part of a scam I had run into. Money gets sent and then when you cash it out, they will try to recover it all just to get your account in the negative and put a checkmark into your history within the system. If it happens enough times, your account goes under review and you can potentially lose it. It's just a malicious thing that people do so glad to see you have good business practices ^w^

I had a few customers I tried to help that weren't as cautious so this makes me incredibly happy to see.

Yes, I actually witnessed such scams before and I am really cautious with payments I don't know or that I didn't invoice >-< So I usually refund and be done with that. I pity those who don't know how all this works ;; But yeah, i forwarded this to paypal for investigation. If nothing comes off it, then good, but better save than sorry <3

Must be a scamming kind of day. I think I accidentally gave my birthday to a phone scam supposedly from my insurance company (plenty of circumstances why this sounded legit)... which then just said after I apologized for how bad I sound and that I'm sick that they would call me another time. I either gave enough info already (birthday and that yes, my insurance had changed in some way recently) or this lady felt bad for trying to scam a horrifically ill person (covid tested negative; I just get really sick). I may never know. Hopefully the latter. Glad you were able to avoid a potential scam; lord knows I've spent a good portion of my waking hours reading about scams. Thus my surprise reading someone else dealing with such things.
