so, this post is apparently so dangerous that facebook and twitter are censoring/blocking everyone who is sharing it
That includes the publication itself as well as the white house chief press correspondent
... which ... well ... pretty damned sure that's big tech censorship.
The very thing that conservatives have been saying has been going on for years.
This presents a very dangerous crossroads for liberals
- Do we fight censorship? As classically trained liberals you're supposed to fight censorship because that's evil!
- But they're conservatives! If we agree with conservatives that big tech is bad, that might also mean OTHER things they're saying is true ... and that might also hurt Biden's chance at election

There's a simple concept, I don't really have an official term for it, of "first heard of bias" ... basically, people tend to place more credence to the first source they hear of a concept than they probably should.
The primary example is that of airplane contrails and whackjob conspiracy theories that airlines spray civilians. (you know, airplane cloud trails in the sky). If a person hears the conspiracy version first (they're spraying us) before the science version (moisture condensation behaving under highly specific atmospheric conditions) ... they'll put more weight into the conspiracy version.
Now ... the issue is that corrupt individuals can leverage this to their advantage by shifting their own sins onto other people.
- Biden has a long track record of taking graft from foreign powers ... this hasn't really come to light until the 2016 email leaks that also pointed towards Obama and Hillary
- So ... let's say you're a news caster and you want to vote democrat ... you COULD investigate those emails and expose the corruption ...
- OR ... you could investigate a total farce of a throwaway note that has absolutely no basis in fact and claim that Trump is taking bribes
- what happens is that you tell everyone that one of the two candidates WAS PROBABLY taking bribes ... so then you become the first news source of "one of the candidates is taking bribes" and since you're first exposure for most people ... those "most people" will believe you ... so that when the news that the Obama cabinet was full of corruption leaks out? people will think less of it.
