...don't just write a journal where your new account is and then deactivate your account, because deactivating the account prevents people here from reading your last journal and thus are unable to follow you to the new account. I thought by now this was common knowledge here, but aparently some don't know that yet.

If you stil wanna deactivate your account and stil want people to follow you, then at least put in the name of the new FA account into the icon of the old account, as that can stil be seen.

So yeah, just a lil rant of people moving accounts, yet removing the possibility of their watchers following them.
