Extended Thoughts on: Faye McKay

This one took me longer than I would've liked. After three weeks, I still had more than half of it to write! Then, as is usually the case with these characters, inspiration struck, and I finished the rest of it the next week. I heard someone say that you shouldn't wait for inspiration to start writing, but it's worked wonders for me.
...Then again, he wasn't writing porn. Or at least, kink-driven stories for an internet game.
And speaking of said internet game, I put a lot of references in this one. Probably a bit too many. At least with Charlie Pelletier, all the references were from my source material: with this character, it's all references to Transformania Time itself, and some of them are... pretty out there. In fact, I specifically put in one reference that only one person will get, and another reference that nobody will get. But I'll explain that one during the trivia bit.
One more thing. The height of Faye McKay was requested by my commissioner, and when I first started writing the opening stages, I thought I'd lean in heavily onto that bit about her, referencing her tall height throughout the character, and giving little hints that she has gigantism. Thankfully, I reached out to my friends about the topic, and was told that yes, 6'8 women do exist, and just because I haven't met a woman past 6'1 doesn't mean they're nonexistent without some other trait. I ain't an authority on the seven billion people in the world.
Why was I so skeptical about adding so many gigantism references? Well, aside from it just not being very nice in general... I'm gonna cut the jokes for a sec. I realised that common physical traits for gigantism (tall height, big hands and feet, prominent forehead) could very well be used to... I think the word is 'clock' trans women. That, along with the absence of a Groin stage (which is entirely because the character doesn't involve sex and I'm annoyingly ace) made me worry that the character could be read as transphobic. And... I already have some characters under my belt that are problematic; I don't want any more. So the height jokes were toned down, though not as much as I would've liked.
...Ugh, I always feel like I'm on a soapbox whenever I get into this. Y'all don't wanna be preached at; you want porn, trivia, and horrible attempts at humour. ...Well, you might not want the last bit, but you're gonna get it anyway:
- Like I said, a lotta references in this one, and it starts with the opening lines. Clarke and Claire are a character I've been working on for over two years, but it's so goddamn complicated that I can't get any work done with it. I'm content with them just being the butt of jokes about my inadequacy.
- Muu'laqh is in reference to Dexter Feiselberg, who had a final form with breasts so big the game couldn't measure them.
- “That Silver guy” is Luke Silver, an awesome character who has some pretty gnarly body horror!
- That Mike Thebes rant is a cheeky little reference to how he's been the starting opponent on TT for years.
- I've been using they/them pronouns for the host for years, at first to skirt past the pronoun colorer baked into the character creator, and then as the gender-neutral singular they/them. Now I have LORE for their pronoun usage! Everyone loves overwrought LORE in their porn!
- If you must know, Faye's 'stages of furry' theory is that there's two types of anthro animal forms on Transformania Time: the kekomimis and the fully anthro. She's wrong, btw: there's also the more animalistic anthros like Buck and April! Oh, and the centaurs.
- Music choice for this character was all Radiohead. Huh.
- ...Yeah yeah, I had Faye say an Undertale quote, sue me.
My question: ...Uhhhhh... I dunno. Talk amongst yourselves, I guess.
Oh my Guod, Lois. This is just like the time I was stuck as the last sentence of a porno journal:
