I'm also not directly impacted by restrictions, I've always had autism so I'm happier alone, however I have a few friends who owns restaurants and pubs who are literally desperate and facing bankrupcy because the government are forcing them to close their activity (which is against our constitution) without giving them any financial help, so I'm extremely angry for them.
I'm also not amused to not be allowed to see my mother and my grandmother.

All this because of a no-known cure flu-like virus that only really kills the frail (IE what other sicknesses would do)
This is gonna sound bleak, but I feel that this level of government corruption starts happening when they're in power for too long, even at this stage there's growing talk of a possible 2nd civil war, or revolution, and it's possible it might happen after the elections.

To be clear, in the US, Trump cannot "lock down" states. Only the governors of the individual states can do that, and many Democrat state governors have indeed completely locked down their states despite there being little local threat.

I agree that it's not right if someone being a twat kills innocent people, however this is not the problem with the italian restrictions. Twats are still twats, idiots are still grouping around isolated corners with no protections, people are still gathering uncontrollably at the grocery stores and the panicked population is filling the ERs even if they're healthy, most of the time catching the covid while waiting in the ER.

1- hospitals (thousands of infections)
2- public transport (only god knows how many since there are 0 controls and 0 social distancing)
3- hospices (thousands infections and most deaths)
4- schools (thousands infections)

The government did:
1- close restaurants and bars (only 5 known infections happened at a bar/restaurant)
2- close theaters (no known infection ever happened in theaters)
3- close gyms (only one infection happened at a gym)
4- close swimming pools (no known infection ever happened in swimming pool)
5- close amusement parks (no known infection ever happened in amusement parks)
6- close underwear stores. Yes, they did.

According to the epidemiological studies, these measures won't do anything to stop the virus. They will only destroy the economy of our country. If I knew that the measures would do anything good to stop the virus, I would totally accept them, but it's as obvious as sunlight that these won't do anything good at all.

A group of people who had their buisness closed started a pacific protest. Later some troublemakers joined and started to mess everything up. It was a far-right group called "Fratelli d'italia" and a far-left groups ( the Social centers), they joined together to to mess up the city. Both of them are scum who destroy stuff because they like to do so. They actually don't care much about the lockdown.
But obviously, press only mention the far right. Because they're evil, but actually the far-leftists were in a larger number and did more damage, especially in Naples the day earlier, there were no Fratelli d'Italia rightists, but only social centers, mafia and ultras rioting in Naples.

It’s incredible how quickly power can go to people’s heads. The ability to decide in general words what businesses and jobs are “essential” from a limited view, and to force literally everyone into social isolation. Over a disease that poses no major threat to the working population (look up the mortality statistics if you don’t believe me). The mental toll, the monetary cost, the stress of adjustment, it’s all ruining countless lives, but it doesn’t matter because “the right thing” has already been dictated to us from above. No human should have this kind of power.

I'm pretty sure if they are banning parties during Corona, thats fine because people shouldn't be going around to parties spreading the virus. We had that issue for a while here too before a law enforced lockdown. People going out and partying regardless of quarantine kept spreading the virus and now the virus is permanent and will be with the human race forever. Because people couldn't handle a simple quarantine properly and were too stupid to follow the rules.

I doubt this ban of partying would be forever, just till we have some sort of vaccine.

Ultimately, this could have been avoided. We could have shut down all services, lock everyone in their homes, martial law, military roaming the streets pointing guns at people trying to break quarantine (loaded with either rubber bullets or tranquilizers). One, maybe two months tops. We'd have eliminated the virus. Then we just lock down the borders and wait for the rest of the world to catch up. But nah, we have stupid in office who can't do anything right. :P Plus we'd have people rioting because "mah freedoms I wanna spread this virus far and wide!".

The problem is not about making a party illegal, that is a must and I totally agree with the rescrictions. The problem is using the word "Festa". We have other words that we can use to define the typical party that is so dangerous these times, Festa does not only mean party, but it has a much deeper and religious meaning that can be harmful at a psychological level. In fact, there are lots of riots almost everywhere now and I can be quite sure that the virus will certainly spread faster in rioting crowds than among people celebrating a "festa" (Festa can also be something spiritual to be celebrated alone, it really doesn't mean "to party". We actually refer to parties as "party" or "movida" since Festa usually involves a celebration of some sort - like wedding, Xmas, or any special day like the liberation day or the worker day).
Don't get me wrong, I would totally ask for a total lockdown if my government had the money to support the economy, but it has not, so people are really reaching their limit here. Just an example: UK government is giving 16 billion to the locked down enterprises, Italy is only giving 1 billion. It's nothing. People here are forced to starve by law and this kind of stuff tend to piss off even the most peaceful population.
