Yahoo Groups shutting down

Lessee--Verizon screwed up Yahoo Instant Messenger, then shut it down. Then they absolutely GUTTED the Groups, and now they're shutting down.
Why am I not surprised?
If Yahoo Mail is next, I'm going to be GENUINELY pissed.
