I'm only giving a half-hearted explanation here because I smell "orange man bad" ... but here we go.

The issue with Hunter is that he's basically a weak link to Joe Biden. Hunter gets schwag and the Joe scratches the backs of foreign leaders in return. Now there's the cynical "myeeh, everyone's corrupt so joe can be corrupt to" argument, which is bullshit, but here's an example of where this can result in a bigger direct impact...
- It would be to China's benefit if the US didn't drill for oil.
- The president could make the US NOT drill for oil by way of regulating it to death, or placing national monuments at inopportune locales
- Not drilling for oil would have a nasty economic impact on several states in the midwest.
- The issue with the Hunter allegations is that he's setting up a quidproquo with china ... Hunter gets some good crack and pay off, and Joe kills US Oil.

Joe said in his debates "oh gee, that's russian disinformation" ... but it's super easy to find clips of him praising china outside this past month. ... besides, with Joe repeatedly calling Trump "George" because he forgot his name, it's a little hard to take Joe at his word.


So yeah, that's ONE of the issues with Hunter, among many. He's basically a backdoor for foreign dignitaries into Joe's pants to set up some quidproquo.

This whole thing just seems very confusing.

That's because politics is a complicated subject matter.

And if you don't understand the complicated mess, the people who are teaching you about politics are failing at their jobs.
