Useless Journal About Flying Creatures and Jazz Hands
5 years ago
Hello lovelies!
I just read an article that said, and I quote, “Bats fly by the power of jazz hands.” I laughed at first and then actually thought about it. They kind of do. I’ve looked at bat wing anatomy in depth for proper creature design, and the bone structures in their wings are very similar to those in human hands. The same goes for birds and some subclasses of dragons. So, really, they’re either hurling themselves through the air by the theatrical might of jazz hands, or they’re propelling themselves by repeatedly attempting and failing to clap. So... that’s something to think about.

Moth: *thinking about her own dragon form with growing resentment* This is stupid and so are you.

Why don't you tell us, Moth? Go on, let us know what you REALLY think. :)
If you're crabby and you know it throw a curse,
If you're crabby and you know it
And you're damned if it you won't show it,
If you're crabby and you know it make things worse.
Imoldra: *fervently annoyed* That's stupid. I don't fly with....
Lassiate: *Interrupting Imoldra, overly enthusiastic* JAZZ HANDS!!!!!!
Smooth jazz there, Lassiate. Real smooth.
That's his way of saying I used to be afraid of heights. It's different under your own power, though.
