I am afraid...my grandfather is not doing well...

My maternal grandfather is not doing so well...we kind of expected it to happen sooner or later, yet I wished it would have happened a lot lot later...I know he is over 90 years old, suffering from age related Leukemia as far as we know and because of narrow heart blood vessels he has been very weak as of lately. Merely getting up and walking has often caused him to black out and fall over, hurting him in the proces. Nothing broken or anything, but still...he is in the hospital right now and they will see what can be done...
I so wish that he will recover enoguh again that he can go home again...to be with us a bit longer...I am scared...

He's had a long live hun. Its just his time almost up. I understand your fear all too well. Death...death sucks. A lot. But what you should do is focus on the good instead of the bad. He is passing on, sure, but he will keep on living inside of you. Keep the good memories of that around rather than the memories of him leaving right now. If you keep focusing on the bad, you'll just suffer more.

I'm sorry :( I hope that he will be OK. You and yours have my thoughts.

I'm thinking of you and him. Hopefully they can help him and he's healthy enough to be with family again, and have good quality of life. Just do be prepared for the inevitable. I know it's terrible to think about, and never easy to accept. Be with him as much as possible.

Very sorry to hear that, but I hope he will be fine for some more time to come.

I know it's been a while since we've spoken over IM, but I do hope he comes through this alright, I lost my grandmother to cancer-related complications near the end of 2019, so if you need someone to talk to please don't be afraid to hit me up.
