Jesus. I hope they don't screw up further. Rabies isn't something you want to mess with.

Yeah, I'm really kinda upset with the local ERs. The first one I went to the day I was bitten (and that I won't be going back to) didn't even send me to the primary ER to immediately start the vaccination series like they were supposed to, ask if I was up to date on tetanus, or even clean the bite. They just gave me an antibiotic and told me the health department may or may not call two days later to determine whether I should get the vaccination or not (and to call the health department myself if they hadn't called after three days).

The hospital claims this is the first time they've ever run out of vaccinations, though. Apparently October here was just a rash of biting squirrels, cats, and bats getting into people's houses... kinda fitting for around Halloween, I guess. XD
