I believe it with all my heart!

I do too, it's been my overwhelming experience in life. It's easy to forget that sometimes given the discourses. But if people would just step away from the keyboard and speak to each other, we'd find out we have way more in common than we think.

Suffice to say, social media has been abused and too heavily relied upon (even technology is being too much of a crutch) for discourse and communication. It's become a social DECLINE. The less inclined people are to talk and communicate outside of that series of virtual spaces, the more tribalistic and polarized we become and remain.

I try! The best thing is for everyone is to just calm down. We'll take this step by step and deal with things as they come, instead of staring down a runaway train of hypothetical scenarios that haven't even happened yet. It's not healthy and it's a waste of energy.

Most everyone who lives here wants this country to do well. We want good lives for its citizens. ALL of its citizens.
We mostly just disagree on how we're going to get there.

Depending on election results things may not be alright at all for those of you who live in United States.
Here in Poland it got so bad that far right party leader is calling for executing people based on sexual orientation. The ruling right wing party is limiting women's rights, and generally the situation is getting so bad that people have no other choice than go out and protest despite the raging pandemic. Hundreds of thousands of people came out in the streets last week, government won't listen though.
Don't let things get that bad in United States.

Unfortunately it's become more convenient to just polarize ourselves and be tribalist out of less responsibility to think. Reactionary is what many have diminished themselves into being.

I wish I could believe that, but if Trump is reelected there's a very good chance my dad will be put out of a job thanks to his new executive order removing protections for federal workers.

...On the plus side, Biden has a lot more avenues to victory than Trump does.
