What kind of mage? Wand, staff, book, nothing?

Staff! There's something magical about a glowing staff being waved around.

If you are going for the mage staff route, just wanted to give mention there is a unique idea that not many people have tried for example a Blade Staff also acting as a magic staff, kinda like a catalyst, could even use the staff with a spear head. I have also seen designs of Wands acting also like stiletto's, the knife not the shoe. Also I dare you to be a mage with out a cape.

My mages don't have capes though.

Fraeya is a mage and Tea is a spell sword

I would give a bladed wand to a spell sword or night blade and a bladed staff to a werlock since those classes are melee magic builds that use those weapons

Just as I would give a mace to a magic knight

I remember in someplace or another some dwarf cleric of some kind used a solid iron tome as a kind of mystical shield, in anycase I look forward to the outcome.

If you're asking me? Glaivelock/bladelock. Always been a fan of the melee builds. Even if eldritch blast spam is fun with infusions 8D

Imma go with Fighter of Barbarian, Its all about the simplicity of going unga bunga on enemies.

What kind of weapon for fighter? Sword axe spear? And for barbarian?

I'm partial to the versatility of a Halberd, can spear, can chop, can hook. For a Barbarian, I would go for a Maul or a Bearded Axe

I Was thinking of beast tamer. But maybe time wage would also suit your fancy? I was thinking of a staff wielding mage or sorts?
