a little update

All we are and all we seem...
I know that my page has been pretty inactive lately. I haven't been drawing or writing much lately. this is because I've been really busy and overwhelmed IRL. I've been staying at my new enbyfriend's apartment instead of my own, and also slowly moving into their apartment. in addition to that, we're looking to move out of THEIR apartment into a new house, preferably a 3-bedroom house.
I've also been working 40 hours a week now, since picking up a second client in my day job. this is good, because it doubled my income (not even counting the pay raise). but because I am now a parent, and my enbyfriend is disabled and has chronic pain, I've also been doing the housework, cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, putting the kids to bed... this has been cutting into my sleep. so I've been exhausted. I don't get to bed until the kids fall asleep, which often isn't until midnight because they keep getting out of bed hours after we put them to bed.
but my enbyfriend's only pair of glasses have broken in half. we are broke, and need cash for new glasses or contact lenses. I made a journal about that earlier, which you can find here: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9664504/
so most likely, the only art you'll be seeing from me for a while is commission art. please, please, PLEASE commission me! we've only gotten a $20 donation so far, and our funds are quickly drying up. plus, I'll be out of work for a couple weeks, visiting my family in Florida for my sister's birthday (she's turning 21!).
there is a possibility that you'll also see some character art of my enbyfriend's new D&D characters. they made a 5th edition character who
s half-elf/half-tiefling and a druid. and they will be making a 3.5e character next. so I'm excited to make ref sheets of those characters, and hopefully commission some artists to make better quality portraits than I can draw yet. :)
anyway, I ho[e this update finds y'all well! with the country on fire, a plague rampaging through the world, and funds low for everybody, I think we could all use a little positivity right about now. drink water, eat something, take your meds, remember your therapy appointments, wear your mask, and don't forget to be awesome~
