It could be your own characters (like Claudius) Or it could be characters from other media, for example Fox Mccloud.

I'd say have multiple tiers.

The $1 tier could allow patrons to vote characters and themes you draw next.

Then a $10 tier that would allow access to chance at getting raffled for 1 drawing each month

Personally I was fine just with supporting the comic which is why I have been pledged for a while xD
Though could combine the 3 by allowing patrons at a certain level or above to give ocs, or characters and have the patrons vote on a couple who gets a pic every month? Might need more people for that though. Other than that could also have a patreon only stream where you raffle off art (don't hold raffles directly on patreon, It's against their tos)
Lastly I'd say something like a discord or telegram server? I like to get to know the people I'm pledging to even if only a little

Yeah, all these are great ideas. I came up with some stuff while i was out on my walk.

I think im gonna do a fetish focus on friday, a character focus on saturday, and a mystery patron art on sunday.

Ooh, sounds good. I would heavily suggest the discord or telegram if you are able though. Building a community is usually really helpful for keeping people around for longer. For me who pledges to multiple people, I'm much more willing to drop artists I'm pledged to that I haven't ever talked to over ones I have talked to when I have to lower the amount I'm spending on patreon. Kinda similar to twitch and subscriptions with twitch having its own chat (sorry if a bit much, just giving suggestions xD)

That's pretty much why I do it. The comic was something that I started reading due to a Reddit comment, and I'm just happy to support it.

I'm not able to attend streams too often, but seeing my character in there every once in a while is nice :)

Yeah, Once I have the ads drawn up, I’m gonna message peeps on Patreon and get some refs so I’ll already have their character on file if they get picked.

1$ a month..... special status on discord.
10$ a month...... early warning (not early access) to ych slots in your comic.
50$...... potentially early access to ych in your comic (need to limit the number of times they can use it so other people have a chance)
100$ ish a month could be a once per 3 months they get an auto slot in your ych of their choice (have to have been a patron of that level for three months first before they can start claiming)

Obviously the numbers can be changed to fit what you want. I just picked the ones I did as an example.

this is a good question i too like to get advice from people i don't know. i also stumbled here from a different dimension and iv never seen your works till today right now only from your page i looked

the biggest thing and also somthing i dont see artists doo that would be a new thing is a maby
1 (you) on 5 person lesson with video on everyone were you teach us how to draw and tell us how we could improve because us people looking for the most partcantg draw but theres some of us... a small handfull that look at the art artists make and we like it but also want to try ourselves even if it isnt as good or theres a spin to what you teach art is also about having fun and people are so disconnected right now that even i find myself with extra time to try since covid
and i can watch all the bob ross videos and still not know good ways to draw furries and u can make people feel good, make new friends and possibly $$$ and id realistically give like an hour and a half different times a day to groups of 5 and make a schedule and u could collect prolly 7-10$ per person and depending on the persons art that your helping u put them into better groups were u teach more or less in depth on different elements also if someone else isnt already doing this than they will be soon because of how boring the corona virus is while we all die lol
we could have had zombies or riots or war with another country or even aliens and whatever fate is was like "nope you get a lonely virus... have fun with no contact no enemy to fight no people fighting zombies just die" lol so yaa i didnt even read your post fully because when i get an idea ike this i cant stop till im done or i wont remember all the juicyness oooo and also maby accept videos of the person drawing like tell them what to draw and have them video it from start to finish we couldn't stop and maby watch it x4 too see where someone is slow or fast since youtube is free have people post them on their channels maby do that once a month or if they get 3 month deal for 19.99 you will do that for them midway like 1 and a half months in also let those people see other peoples videos and refer too them also to help people get were they wanna be :3

all the above and possibly have people do art sped up and u watch how long it takes them to complete tasks.. i often wonder if im taking too much time doing somthing or if im making parts harder than they are and u artists make it look so easy

Its just built up slowly over time. Art is one of those 10,000 hour skills. You get what you put in.

So if it looks easy, it just means a lot of that persons life was spent drawing. XD

so right b4 i start to draw i get this feeling of dread and i ask myself "am i just going to waist paper" because i look at like blotch for example and know he dosn't use an eraser or if he does its not like me who cant decide were too put the nose lol... i feel that im not the only 1 so if u did somthing like what i described i think people would join especialy some of your watchers
