I think House,Joe and American people can put pressure on GOP senate to buckle on two things

1- stopping the border wall
2-gas tax hike

As for healthcare if Joe has senate on his side a public option would be possible. This would be a huge leap step just like medicare and Medicaid.

I don't think most Americans want the border wall stopped though. Most Americans are not in favor of open borders. And I dunno about Americans agreeing to a gas tax hike either. healthcare I can see some tweaks being done but I don't see anything sweeping being done: any republican that votes for a medicare for all type program won't be n office long, but some changes to the ACA might be able to pass through.

Mexico is new border wall, give them money and they go southern border and stop the migrants from entering their country or ours.

I think public option would be easier for dems and GOP to vote in favor. We need gas tax hike because our roads are bad and we need to invest money in public infrastructure and public transportation.

To be fair pretty much every major religion has some rule agains being gay, islam is not alone in that. The last two elections now we have had two "meh" candidates running against each other so I understand voting third party. I really wish ranked choice voting was a thing though since it would do away with the spoiler effect.

Islam is much worst than you think, especially with intolerance and violence from terrorist groups or from the state(Look at Turkey,Pakistan,Brunei etc..) so damn fucked up and Europe and rest of the west must fight back like France is doing everyday.

Islam has an issue with violent extremism that other religions currently don’t. Most Christians will give you the “hate the sin, love the sinner” type thing for being gay, while Muslim countries will straight up execute gay people. So I am aware it’s worse (both gay rights wise and other extremism), but my position that it’s not the only religion proscribing homosexual behavior is true, I think most religions do.

Islam's violence and willing to kill is above and beyond. Look at a lot violence in middle east, south east asia and north africa. This version of islam is spreading and growing and more and more join it because its very easy to justify your actions against Jews, Christians and others. I tend to fall in the same boat: I don't like trumps personality. he did some good things domestically but overall his personality and demeanor dragged him down. on the foreign front he was actually pretty decent though, he's the first president in my lifetime not to get us into. war during a first term.

Weed legalization will likely continue to be state by state. Public attitudes on it are changing but I don't think people care enough to do some sweeping federal law change on it in the near future.

The democrats had the chance to do public option healthcare in 2010 when they had a democratic president and democratic supermajorities in the House and Senate. They coudl have done whatever they wanted , but chose the ACA. I doubt they will go bigger with a republican debate (or even a close senate). The political landscape isn't as favorable to that sort of thing in 2020.

Something might happen on student loan debt but I don't expect it all to be forgiven. Some that went to for-profit stuff like ITT and have useless degrees might get some loan forgiveness. For public universities and state schools I am less sure. there is. already some movement to make it free or lower the cost, t though how much it will work remains to be seen. I suspect some colleges will go away because of COVID.

I don't see major gun law changes unless some major incident happens, but thats unlikely given what we have seen. I don't see the open borders push ending, the left has forgotten that its supposed to support workers and higher wages and that mass immigration lowers wages, and instead believes that being against it is because of racism only. The statue toppling started before Trump and will likely continue though I do see it slowing down as many of the low hanging frueits have been taken down already.

I doubt major police reform will happen: thats a local issue not a federal one. Its like trying to reform the education system when each city has its own independent school district, so federal mandates will have only a limited effect and may produce counterproductive results in some places.

Divided senate means some of the more extreme measures dems wanted to pass won't pass, they will have to compromise, which will piss off the hard left. Still, I don't see a republican wave unless democrats do like they did after Obama won which as 'we won, get over it losers, we get to dow whatever we want and on't have to listen to you . We can just shut you completely out of government and ignore you" BS that led to the republican wave in 2010. With republicans keeping senate, dems can use it as a foil while republicans can try to retake the house in 2022.

I dunno about Trump actually ending up serving jail time. If he demonstrably breaks the law.. A lot of people don't like him as president but not liking someone isn't a criminal offense, otherwise most of our former presidents would have been in jail haha.

I wish in America we could replace $1&$2 dollar bills with dollar coins that would save billions of dollars

we have penny,nickle, dime and quarter(mint them cheaper) along with $1&$2 dollar coins, 5,10,20,50 and 100 bills.

we get rid of Susan B Anthony coin ,JFK coin, Native American coins and Presidential coins(this help save us money)

Dollar coins can be melted down and recycled for new coins and they last 20+ years while paper notes only last 1-2 years.
