Don't Update your Wii.

Updating your wii to version 4.2 has had reports of it bricking it. Rendering your Wii unplayable. Please do not update if possible.
Be careful, I'd refrain from downloading anymore content until Nintendo fixes it, or a third party fixes it. Nintendo added in basically the equivalent of securom to the wii to try to bring the modding community down. But this has also been known to also destroy normal users too.
Also, I can send you some movies showing what the mods can do.
