I'm also shy of 2k words into that date scene for Occupational Hazards mentioned in my previous journal. That's kinda backburnered as it probably won't see the light of day for at least a year, with a couple years being a more likely timeline. My immediate writing goal is to finish the Unicorn Hunter sequel ('Kirin Hunter'), hopefully by the 16th for another calendar shifted 30 days of writing. I'm in no danger of finishing a 50k word novel in the timespan, but I've already exceeded last year's writing output in the same (shifted) timespan.
