If this happens without you doing anything new/unusual, it is probably something to do with a fan/fans. Could be a massive dust build-up, but that'd take years to form. It can be a bit tricky to figure out what CPU socket your PC has, but if you can do this, it's generally quite cheap and easy to get a replacement fan and install it. Hope this'll help.

When was the last time you changed your thermal paste? How did you establish it's the CPU overheat that is the problem?
