█████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ I was planning on giving an update for those
who replied to the previous Journal to say that
she seems to be doing a lot better; constantly
wanting food, the matted fur is coming out and
looking more normal, etc, so it might have been
that she was under the weather for a while.
But yesterday when I was giving her some food,
I noticed straight away someone was up with her
eye, I panicked at first as I thought her eyes was
extremely infected as it was just pink, taking me a
good few second to realise it was her inner eyelid.
Still, it was all gunked up so I've been cleaning it
with some damp tissue, but just I can see now that
that the side of her face has swollen, as well as
some dried blood on her lip, so I'm leading to
believe that she's been in a bad scrap while outside.
If anyone has had this kind of thing happen before
I would really appreciate your insight, I want to take
her to the vet, but I don't think I can afford it, and
I don't have any kind of insurance either -_-

If you afford a vet just do your best to keep it clean and keep her inside for a while and see if it clears up

My cats get into all kinds of stuff. One came back with a swollen hind leg once. Once came back with his claw ripped out and it got stuck in paw pad. That was not a fun one to deal with. Had to remove the claw. Clean the paw and get the infection out. But he made it. Next morning his paw looked all normal. No swelling. Take a towel and wrap the cat up like a burrito. They can not move then. They will howl alot!!!! When you do something that makes it hurt. But keeping things clean is key. Cats are hard to kill. And you might want to keep her inside for a bit.
