Sorry, if i were to make a story about constructs i might jsut make a cyberpunk story. Though a golem might be easier to draw than a robot.

let me give you a few random ideas:
• a caryatid, part of a temple """security system""", the person who wakes up inside suddenly makes the priests discard it because "it was tampered with".
• a living armor, or a living sword, having to deal with the person wearing/wielding it. Bonus points if the armor or swords learns that there is a thir person in the counterpart (the sword if the person is an armor, or vice versa)
• a medusa after she got transformed to stone that needs to re-learn how to move (no, wait that's my character).
• the idol of a log dead god that is now an empty husk and can be a receptacle for a soul, with a sigle follower.
• a single tear of a god, human sized, able to heal, but only by sacrificing its own mass, also it's basically "irreplaceable water" so kind of a water weird that needs to take in account evaporation and the use of its power reserves from which its own being alive stems.

I mean besides the usual golem and gargoyle there is a lot that could be done.

I honestly think the concept of someone having to adapt (and be converted) to thinking in video game terms and logic, until they are just another fully integrated and programmed facet of the game, losing all former identity and agency in the process, is a really fun and hot idea with lots of content to mine out from and buttons to push...~

Would she be able to interact with players? I.e. if it were a single-player game, could she try to text at the player during combat? Or if it were an MMO, could players meet and talk with her?

I'd vote for lizardfolk warrior. It would be such a drastic shift in how to survive that getting used to dealing with problems directly and facing the danger of battle would be part of her levelling (if she gains levels).

Not sure yet.

It could be someone who's not really into video games but has a friend who is. This way, she could know basic terminology and wouldn't have much problems learning what she doesn't know. (Except for one thing that comes up fairly frequently yet she simply can't remember what it's called.)

As for what she should wake up as, either Serpent Mage or Burning Dragon. (If I can only vote for one, then mage.)
