I purged my Nintendo fan art off of Twitter

I made the not-so-fun decision to delete my Nintendo art off of Twitter.
The DMCA issue has gotten pretty bad over there.
Seeing tweets from over a year ago get taken down and people getting suspended often enough fills me with dread.
With my past Nintendo DMCA issues when I was on Tumblr, I decided I better be safe than sorry.
I want to keep drawing and posting Nintendo fan art and Twitter was holding me back.
I worried too much and let it stop me from drawing like I used to.
No more!
Here is a big ol' pile of sketches and art I saved before deleting my posts!

I even took screen grabs of my Twitter posts before deleting, just for record keeping~
From now on I will post Nintendo fan art here and everywhere that is not Twitter, lol.
Twitter is great for exposure, but sites like Fur Affinity are where the passion is.
I will devote more time here!

I thought it would be worth compiling together!
It does suck, but avoiding Twitter is better than not drawing the art I want!

We should devote more time to screwing them all in our art. That'll teach 'em!
Fake or not, suspended accounts and counterclaims is a reality. No guarantee it won't happen again even if cleared up.
Seems like people get hit with 5 or more at a time now so suspended accounts are hard to avoid.
No idea if it even is Nintendo, or a combination of Nintendo and trolls. The DMCA system is too easy to abuse for sites that let it. It is what it is.
Twitter is not all that safe with this kind of stuff.
That will give me the security I need to draw what I want!
I wish copyright stuff would be updated, though. I am tired of being told all fan art is not okay and also, fan art is okay.
Very confusing.
I feel for the poor creators who are pressured into deleting everything.
Deviant Art would not have fan art categories and sites like Patreon would have a ban on fan art if that was a real danger.
I suspect, if it is Nintendo and not trolls, that Nintendo doesn't want lewd art on platforms they have official accounts on. That's my best guess.
At least for me they do~
So using other sites is preferably for your own sake and your creativity.

It's great for sharing art and connecting with others, but sites like this are more important.
I don't want to feel bad or worried about Nintendo art so I will just not post it on Twitter!
I like to wait to make sure some of these newer sites don't collapse quickly.
