A Note to the Artists I Watch

Hello!
If see this account because I've watched you, I just want to say: I watched you because I genuinely enjoy your art. I've noticed a trend of people watching/faving artists just to draw traffic to their own page. Its not the most heinous thing, but it can be discouraging in my own experience. Even if you don't think your art is very good, I still look forward to seeing you improve. My end goal is to reach this same artistic caliber as my favorite artists. But in the meantime I'll still appreciate the work you put out in the meantime.

Thats an amazing sentiment to put out there and that is NOT sarcasm ^^ Most may not know each other personally on this site but little efforts of reassurance and connection like this are the differences in a good and bad world. Thank you for being awesome.

I made this journal about a problem that I don't see anymore. I'd be excited to get a +Watch notification only to see galleries filled to the brim with YCH advertisements. This basically went away when FA changed the rules about YCH advertising. But I keep this old journal pinned because I still mean it when I say I like watching artists to see how they evolve. Especially recently made accounts with small galleries.
