Yeah, I know. I really do appreciate every single comment I get about what I wrote as it does take a lot of time, and as I mentioned in another thread it can spur the imagination.

I am sorry to hear that. I have always been very appreciative of artist especially since I do not have the talent to create my own art or stories and rely on others to do so.

Yeah. Writing is pretty much the only talent I do have, and I'll admit it isn't as good as many other people; but the whole point is to being joy and wholesome feelings to everyone who reads them.

Comments can spur ideas for new stories too, like if your character met Timothy and Friendly, what would happen? ^_^

I've always enjoyed reading your stories, they're well crafted and certainly tap into the right mindset for children. I'm sorry i don't comment very often. I don't comment a lot...I really should fix that more, I'm such a lurker.

One thing I just want to say. Creating gift creations (be that art stories music whatever) doesnt necessarily mean the recipient will necessarily do similiar. Gifts generally are supposed to be given without thinking of getting something back in return. (altho getting stuff in return is certainly appreciated) But maybe if you did trades instead then you'd get something back for your effort.

Also Im wondering if you tell people when you write them into a story? It might be that they don't know they've been written into a story so don't realise so that's maybe why people havent said thank you or written to you? I know I accidentally find pictures people have drawn for me and I didnt know existed and It always makes me feel awful that I never saw it when t was first made.

Im sorry you feel under appreciated that can certainly be a thing here, but now you've said it out in the open like this then hopefully people will realise (as I have) that we should be more vocal about our appreciation of the work you do.

I do admit that part of why I'm feeling sorry for myself lies at my own feet, but everyone who has their characters in my stories knows about it - unless those said characters are just fill-in (background cameo) characters.

I don't expect everyone to do something in return for me, but when nobody reciprocates a gift or even comments on what I wrote for them, it just feels like my time and effort went into a black hole.

I really appreciate your style and characters.

As for appreciation, I'm sure some do appreciate it, but just neglected to say thank you, some people are just like that, good people but being a bit absent minded.

I'd honestly drop a link and mention you added them in the story, years ago  BabyStar put me in a story she wrote in description of a picture and I had no idea until it was pointed out to me about a year later because I never thought it would happen and so i didn't recognize my oc when i skimmed through even though he was named and everything. But I agree its probably just unappreciative people.
