With a fresh victory in hand, let's see if I'm able to cook up another winning week this time around.

PICK 1
~Cincinnati Bengals as road underdogs over the Washington Football Team (+1.5)
Washington had their change to turn their season around in Detroit. They are more banged up than the Bengals right now, who are looking to lick their wounds and give their fanbase more to hope for in the future. It'll still be a close game, but I think the Bengals will pull it out on a final drive to win the game.
RESULT: Bungles 9 Football Team 20 (LOSS)
I'm speechless with how gruesome that injury was to Burrow. The Organization is going to make him the next Andrew Luck if they don't address that offensive line anytime soon.
PICK 2
~New England Patriots as road favorites over the Houston Texans (-2.5) (PONE'S LOCK OF THE WEEK)
Hard to ignore a low spread like this. But the Patriots are certainly motivated for pulling the upset last week. The Texans are just terrible on both sides of the ball. I think the Pats will unfortunately spark talks of a late season playoff push with a convincing win this week. Fuck the Pats though!
RESULT: Patriots 20 Texans 27 (LOSS)
I successfully jinxed the fucking Pats! But unfortunately, I probably put on too much negative mojo this week since...

~Miami Dolphins as road favorites over the Denver Broncos (-4.0)
A tricky place for the pick to be, but considering how they handled the Chargers and other bad football teams in the past, I think Tua keeps the team rolling to a 6th straight win. The Broncos don't even know who their QB is gonna be this Sunday.
RESULT: Phins 13 Broncos 20 (LOSS)
A heartbreaking setback for my Phins. They simply got outclasses in the trenches. Tua had no chance to make anything happen and got destroyed behind that mediocre O-Line. Hopefully they get it together next week and get back to their winning ways.
OVERALL RESULT: 0-3
Any momentum from last week was ruined. I'm in a bad spot with these strings of bad picks. I feel like I have to win next week to keep my changes alive for a comeback.
