Hey there awesome people!
the VGA to DP adapter arrived.
the screen gave no signal on the "good card" ports, but did on the "bad card" port.
its official, its a graphics card issue, not an HDMI port issue :(

Yeah, graphic cards can be expensive. The good ones at least. Mine was $280.
