It's good and terrible at the same time.

See, the action is great, but it goes against many things already set in stone about the series, such as Obi Wan and Skywalker haven't seen Dooku since the second movie and in the 3rd movie make a statement about it.

General Grevous was also given an injury by Mace Windu JUST before the 3rd movie started, crushing his chest and causing lung damage.

In the show, much before it, he has it for no reason.

Basically, JUST watch it for the action and take the story with a grain of salt.

George never ceases to amaze me at how much he can turn his works into complete and utter crap. I think the main reason he wanted to do this series was people were saying how much the Cartoon Network cartoon was better than his movies.

I dunno, in my Films of Spielberg and Lucas class we discussed why Lucas films suck, and we came to the conclusion that since his divorce, George had no one left to say "no" to him. He went to several people to help him hash out his original script, went around looking for input.

That or, I swear, he beat up someone and stole the scripts for THX1138 and Star Wars in college.

Unfortunately, I'm forced to agree. While I think I would be able to watch this new series with more pleasure then the last three movies (or does the new Clone Wars movie even count?), even so, after three minutes of the episode I said aloud (before I could stop myself); "This show sucks...". That's a shame, considering how much I enjoyed the Clone Wars animated cartoon.

Still, it seems better then either "Droids" or that Ewok series, so I'd like to see more before I really make a serious judgment.

As for George - I remember a line from Harrison Ford regarding the Lucas script; while reviewing his lines he commented to another person "You can write this shit, but you can't say it in front of a camera."
