I am obviously aware of what happened my old and dead deviantart account. Since I haven't looked at it or signed into it in over 4 years, I decided it was easier to recover the password and just delete the account. Thanks for all your concerns, sorry if just deleting the account left whatever the hacker uploaded in your submissions, I thought deleting the account would remove any new submissions!

Don't use the same password for more than one account, folks. And NEVER use another service (Facebook/Google/Twitter) as a shortcut to logging in. If the parent account gets hit, you'll lose all of it.
