So I have been thinking about opening Comms starting next month with limited slots, I'm more wondering if I should with limited slots its going to be a little more pricey mainly due too I want to make sure the person is committed to waiting a bit for its completion, You would pay half after the halfway point of the Comm and pay the rest after its finished, but I need some more input on what others and other artists have on it

From what I have experienced, most charge up front but give WIP’s at every major step to make sure that the art is done right by what the commissioner wants. That’s one way to make sure people are invested.
