So, I've suffered more hearing loss

So, about a week and a half ago one night i suddenly had hearing problems with my right ear (still stone deaf in the left). Pressure, metallic ringing from sounds, muffled. Saw my doctor the next day and got a couple meds, and set up an appointment with a specialist. Due to paperwork errors, that appointment was pushed off until today.
My hearing has cleared up since then, but I did suffer a permanent loss of hearing in the upper registers, consistent with the type suffered by much older age groups.
That this happened almost to the month of when this happened to me eleven years ago...sigh, at least it didn't take all my hearing.

I'm deaf in the left ear too so I hope your right ear can manage to get cleared up soon, living life in Mono audio is bad enough as it is!
