(Disclaimer: I'm not done yet)

But, I finally finally finally did what I've been threatening to do since I was in elementary school: I wrote 50,000 words of a story during the month of November. Didn't give up, didn't stop, didn't get sidetracked immediately and start working on something else; an incredible feat for a dope like me! Midnight last night I was at 49,784, but by the time I stopped for that session was at 52,285. (mostly using the specific numbers because I've been obsessively checking, and it doesn't feel real to me otherwise... But I won't deny there's a dick measuring comparison to be made there, haa)

That being said though, I am still a visual artist before a writer! Not that picking one over the other matters--both are huge parts of my life and always have been--but I will be back to the drawing this week. Hopefully I will have some shiny new art to post, and if I work up my nerve maybe I'll post a snippet of the novel-thing

I also have not checked my notes in awhile and I'm still not quite prepared to, but I will get to it soon with  zel-kun's help

Hope you all had a good november! I also made my first Thanksgiving dinner this year, and it went off much better than I was afraid! Nothing burned, and pretty much everything came out as good as I hoped... Still workin on the leftovers
